LYNEA DIAZ-HAGAN, Founder | Lead Consultant
For the past 15 years, Lynea has been helping clients—from startup founders to professional entertainers—make their stories relevant to both investors and the public. With a background that spans tech, finance, entertainment, and education, she is gifted at translating big ideas into messages that capture attention.
As a communications consultant and pitch deck writer, Lynea has worked with multiple Silicon Valley startups and has pitched Sand Hill investors herself. Knowing that success often hinges on an entrepreneur’s story, she helps founders develop compelling narratives and deliver them with power and skill.
Lynea also works with clients individually. She has empowered hundreds of students and professionals through writing, public speaking, and interview coaching, helping them express the unique value of what they have to offer and the integrity of who they are. Highly experienced as an admissions consultant, she also coaches applicants to undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs and has an exceptional track record of success—her clients consistently gain admissions to top programs domestically and abroad.
With a BA in English Literature from Yale University, an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, and an MA in Jazz Vocal Performance from San Jose State University, Lynea brings a skillset steeped in storytelling and performance and combines this with business experience to deliver results.

Tom has supported Windhorse I/O clients as a consultant and editor since 2018. A talented storyteller with a professional background in social services, environmental conservation, and natural history, he is passionate about broadening the reach of social impact organizations.
Tom’s prior experience includes work with Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse (CORA), SF Court Appointed Special Advocates (SFCASA), Grand Canyon Trust, Progressive Policy Institute, and multiple state and national parks. At Windhorse I/O, he is available to support clients in the nonprofit sector with the research and development of informative talks and presentations. Highly skilled at motivational interviewing, he also mentors clients through professional transitions and provides one-on-one writing coaching and academic counseling.
Tom graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Environmental Humanities from Northern Arizona University. As a fiction writer, he was selected for the SF Writers Grotto’s juried conference LitCamp and has completed a semester in the MFA Creative Writing program at San Francisco State University.
