For the past 15 years, Lynea has been helping tech startups and nonprofit organizations position their missions and messages for the public. Specializing in storytelling, strategic communications, thought leadership, PR writing, creative direction, and marketing, she has extensive experience helping teams build effective narrative strategies, leading collaborative projects, and creating written and visual content that inspires. As the founder and senior consultant of Windhorse I/O, she currently provides services to the social tech nonprofit One Degree, the statewide coalition California Accountable Communities for Health, and as a board member of the publishing nonprofit Unfettered Mind. As a writer and multimedia artist, Lynea has received multiple recognitions for her work, including a literary artist commission from the San Francisco Arts Commission. She holds a BA in English from Yale University, an MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & TV, and an MA in Music from San Jose State University.
